  • Olympic Park

-This park has recently had a Miami-Dade library added to it and the building is amazing. With it’s modern lines and colors and the beautiful stone work on the side wall it’s really more than just a library but a piece of modern architecture. The park area has a walking path, playground and basketball courts. I guarantee you won’t miss it because it’s located right on Kendall Drive and 152nd Ave.

  • The Little Farm

-If your kids love animals you have to take them to the Little Farm. It’s great to leave Miami city life and take a drive through the plant nurseries and open land. I think this would make a great birthday party location and I’m planning on going back for Family Fun Days next month.

  • Bill Baggs State Park

-To my memory this is the first time I’ve been to Bill Baggs State park. I like it because it seems very remote and it has a lot of history to it. Unfortunately I couldn’t go up the lighthouse because my daughter was too young. So next time my husband is coming with us so I can get some nice pictures from the top of the lighthouse 🙂 I wasn’t able to see the beach because it was nap time for the little one but I will definitely go again and post some new pictures and comments.
