  • My Branic Boutique

    –  I’ve recently bought some fabulous jewelry from My Branic Boutique and wanted to share with you all. A couple of weeks ago I blogged about the new jewelry site a friend of mine just launched. Make sure to check out the site and tell your friends. They have great jewelry at great prices. The first two pictures below are both over sized rings. They are my favorite pieces at the moment. Let me know what you all think of them.

  • Pretty Pettiskirts!

I’m in love with Baby Pettiskirts and the best place to find a wide variety of color, style and size is Layla Grayce . For my daughters 4th birthday I am going to take her to the beach and photograph her with a turquoise pettiskirt from Layla Grace. Some other great photo locations are Deering Estate, Kampong Botanical Garden and Salvadore Park . I wish I would have had one for her when she was a baby. They are just the cutest things ever! I’ve bought some other ( cheaper) play pettiskirts and tutu’s for her and she wears them all day long and dances around the house like a princess. We would love to see pictures of your daughters in pettiskirts on our facebook page. Just click on the facebook link to the left. Looking forward to seeing some great pictures!

  • Salvadore Park

    – When you hear “Coral Gables” you automatically think of beautiful shade trees and it’s many green open spaces. With that said, Salvadore Park in Coral Gables met my expectations and more. The playgrounds are clean and there is plenty of shade, which are two things that I look for when visiting a park. I was already envisioning my sons first birthday and how I would decorate the pavilion and pergola. Unfortunately, the City of Coral Gables does not allow any bounce houses. This just gives me the opportunity to get creative and think outside of the typical birthday “box”. What ever happened to a day at the park; blowing bubbles, drawing with sidewalk chalk and playing hide and seek?

I love the way the park is spread out into sections. The bigger kids playground and swing set are separated by a small retaining wall which also serves as a bench.  Then there is the smaller size playground and baby swings which are geared towards younger children. Not only is this park beautiful, but it also offers the basic needs such as bathrooms. Every parent knows that the minute you get them out of the car seat and onto the playground, the first thing they need to do is go to the bathroom. This has happened to me many of times at parks which don’t have restrooms.

Hopefully after reading this you will visit Salvadore Park in Coral Gables, if you haven’t already.
