National Mom’s Nite Out

South Florida Malls, in conjunction with VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s official tourism marketing corporation, invite moms to relax and unwind at the Third Annual “National Mom’s Nite Out.” This year’s FREE celebration of motherhood will have a Mexican theme and will include a mariachi band, margaritas and a variety of complimentary giveaways, makeovers, samples and more. Moms will join together for a well-deserved break to socialize and relax at this event featuring networking, style presentations, shopping incentives, pampering with mini-massages and other fun activities.

Movie Night at Fairchild

Bring the whole family along for the adventure as one brave owl tries to save his world in the movie Legend of the Guardians, The Owls of Ga’Hoole, from the studio that brought you Happy Feet. This movie will be shown surrounded by the beauty of nature in Fairchild’s outdoor theater.There will be movie treats for sale including, popcorn with truffle butter, tri-color corn tortillas with nacho cheese sauce, jalapenos and salsa, assorted fresh baked jumbo cookies, kosher hot dogs, candy, soda, water, wine and beer. Arrive early and go on a sunset tram tour or take a relaxing stroll through the Garden. Gates open at 7:00 p.m. Movies begin at 8:00 p.m.

The Children’s Trust Family Expo

Each hall also offers two stages packed with entertainment; face painting; balloon sculpture; stilt walkers; magicians; and character greeting for children to meet Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob, Dora the Explorer and Diego.

Dadeland Mall invites children of all ages to roll up their sleeves and explore the fun side of food with hands-on learning activities during the Simon Kidgits Club’s Super Duper Mini Chefs event. Kids will enjoy a nutritional magic show by Amy the Magic Chef where they will learn table manners and good eating habits. Kids will also color their own chef hats and receive an apron to help them make sweet treats.
