PAMM Art Story time

Every fourth Saturday at 1pm, 3-5 year-olds (and their caregivers) build on foundations of literacy with an in-gallery story reading followed by a related art activity at PAMM’s Knight Education Center. Space is limited. Pre-registration required.
Miso for the Family

Marvel at some of the world’s most incredible animals as Jungle Island hosts MISO in an unforgettable performance inside the covered Parrot Bowl amphitheater on Saturday at noon. Any performance of a two-piano concerto is surely a treat, especially when it is one of Saint-Saëns most popular works – Carnival of the Animals, a brilliant and fun piece full of witty musical references that kids and families of all ages will enjoy. Also performing Saturday night at the University of Miami’s Gusman Concert Hall, Haydn’s fun-loving “Toy” Symphony features select children to perform alongside MISO.
* Entrance to Jungle Island Park is included in the price of the ticket for Saturday’s noon concert.
Wild Night 4 All Evening Tour Zoo Miami
Where: Zoo Miami
When: Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 6:30pm – 10:00pm
Cost: $35
Experience a “walk on the wild side” as you explore the Zoo at night on a behind-the-scenes tour! Guided by a knowledgeable zookeeper, you will visit select animal exhibits and experience the sounds, scents and fascinating behaviors of the Zoo’s great beasts. Program varies according to animal availability. Includes pizza dinner and a souvenir.
