    MONSTER SPLASH NIGHTTIME BASH

    Little ghosts and goblins get set for big fun at Miami’s biggest kid-friendly Halloween Extravaganza – Monster Splash Nighttime Bash returning for its 17th year on October 28 – 31, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.  With more ghoulish treats and ghostly fun than ever before, this year’s event features trick-or-treating at Sharky’s Sweet Tooth Station; kiddie rides and bounce houses at the Little Monsters Play Area; the Monsters in the Mangrove Haunted Walk; Flipper’s Dance Party and the only place in Miami to enjoy Halloween themed marine animal shows. Purchase tickets at participating Walgreens and receive a 20 percent discount.

    Special admission price for the Nighttime Bash is only $24.95 plus tax after 5:00 p.m. for adults, and $19.95 plus tax for children (ages 3 to 12 years) after 5:00 p.m.

    Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: WINN) gets into the Halloween spirit and welcomes children to participate in festive pumpkin decorating workshops at select stores. As part of the workshops, children ages three to 13 will have the opportunity to decorate bright orange pumpkins with assorted paints and will receive a Winn-Dixie Halloween-themed apron and hat. In addition, children will also have the chance to transform into their favorite characters by getting their faces painted. The workshops, which begin at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., respectively, will last approximately 20 to 30 minutes and will accommodate the first 20 children present.
