Spring Into Fashion

Families are invited to “Spring Into Fashion” at Miami International Mall. The celebration will kick-off with the Easter Bunny arriving in a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck. Then the Easter Bunny will hop on over to the mall to join families for a delicious brunch. Funds raised from the brunch will benefit Doral Relay for Life, which organizes nationwide races to fight cancer. Kids will also enjoy interactive games, arts and crafts and prize giveaways. The Easter festivities will end with a fashion show, offering attendees a look at the latest fashions for spring. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to take pictures of the Easter Bunny.

Minnie’s Masquerade
Where: The Falls Mall ( near the Disney Store)

Disney Junior, a new multiplatform destination for kids age 2-7, is celebrating the debut of “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Masquerade” with fun, interactive family events hosted by Radio Disney at Dadeland Mall, Miami International Mall and The Falls.
Local area kids and families are invited to enjoy themed activities including do-it-yourself masquerade masks. The Radio Disney Road Crew will provide on-stage entertainment inviting kids to sing and dance to the tunes of popular Radio Disney Junior songs from their favorite Disney Junior series including “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse,” “Handy Manny,” “Imagination Movers” and the new hit adventure series “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.” Additionally, the Radio Disney Road Crew will give away Disney Junior themed prizes at each event.

Eggstraordinary Eggscitement

Celebrate the beauty of Spring, and celebrate the joy experienced by children at our 8th Annual Eggstravaganza, 10 AM-2 PM. As you wonder through the Gardens, you just might happen upon a pastel bunny or other cute and cuddly characters guaranteed to make the child in all of us giggle in delight. Lots of activities for the entire family including face painting, balloon art, interactive games, music, arts and crafts or you can simply focus on filling your basket with colorful eggs in pursuit of that one Golden Egg and the special prize that it brings. This is one event that every child will want to attend, and parents are welcomed too! Admission is $5 per person.

PJ Library Story Time: Matzoh Time!

2nd Annual Pinecrest Earth Day Festival

Williamson Automotive presents a day of great fun, great food, great entertainment and most importantly a great reminder to treat our planet with the TLC it deserves. Earth Day Celebration

Zoo Miami’s Great Egg Safari

Join us at our annual Egg Safari on Saturday and Sunday, April 23 and 24, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. It’s a magical day at Zoo Miami with continuous egg safaris, fun activities, the Easter Bunny, and more for kids 12 years old and under.
Our animals will also get special treats in honor of the holiday. See schedule below:
10:30 a.m. On Saturday, the Bengal tigers will receive painted coconut “Easter eggs” and on Sunday they’ll get papier mache “Easter eggs” filled with treats.
11:00 a.m. The African lions will get egg-shaped blood pop in a nest of hay.
11:30 a.m. The sun bears will delight in their pastel-colored hard boiled eggs and papier mache eggs stuffed with treats.
1:00 p.m. The Asian elephants will enjoy giant Easter baskets filled with coconuts painted like eggs.
2:00 p.m. The harpy eagles will tear apart their papier mache eggs filled with with meat .
2:30 p.m. The Malayan tapir will get painted coconut “Easter eggs.”
3:00 p.m. The African elephants will crush their giant Easter baskets to eat their yummy coconut “Easter eggs.”
3:30 p.m. The Asian small-clawed otters will gobble up their pastel-colored hard boiled eggs.
So don’t miss a minute of the fun!

Whole Kids Club Activity: Plant an Egg Carton Garden
Where: Whole Foods : Pinecrest
When: Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Kids ages three and up are invited to join us for a fun, hands-on activity to celebrate Earth month. After coloring your eggs for Easter this year, save those egg cartons! We’ll help you put them to good use! Have your child bring their recycled egg carton to this activity, and we’ll help them create their very own egg carton garden!

Eggstreme Egg Hunt
Where: Coral Gables War Memorial Park

The celebration will kick off with an EGG HUNT at the Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center Field where will be evenly distributed over the field. Find a and win a fabulous prize! Easter at The Little Farm

Explore a Real Underground Cave

Your afternoon journey takes you through the park’s pine rockland trails, where you’ll discover wildlife and a real underground cave! In the evening there’s a presentation on South Florida owls, followed by a call of the resident Easter Screech owls and a marshmallow toast around the campfire.
