Set on the biggest backyard on Biscayne Bay kids of all ages can enjoy non-stop live entertainment, colorfully costumed Bahamian Junkanoo musicians, pontoon boat rides, a Lil’ Shrimp Kids Zone and an Artist Village. New this year is the Deering Discovery Cove, a simulated underwater archaeological adventure. The Cove, was created by the Estate’s Education staff, and kids build their own sea-worthy vessels, discover marine life, uncover sunken treasures and learn about bioluminescence and animal adaptation. Top local restaurants feature Florida’s best seafood, (land lover options are available) while celebrity chefs wow the crowds with cooking demos under the big top tent.
