    National Mom’s Nite Out

    South Florida Malls, in conjunction with VISIT FLORIDA, the state’s official tourism marketing corporation, invite moms to relax and unwind at the Third Annual “National Mom’s Nite Out.” This year’s FREE celebration of motherhood will have a Mexican theme and will include a mariachi band, margaritas and a variety of complimentary giveaways, makeovers, samples and more. Moms will join together for a well-deserved break to socialize and relax at this event featuring networking, style presentations, shopping incentives, pampering with mini-massages and other fun activities.

    The Children’s Trust Family Expo

    Dadeland Mall invites children of all ages to roll up their sleeves and explore the fun side of food with hands-on learning activities during the Simon Kidgits Club’s Super Duper Mini Chefs event.     Spring Into Fashion

    Families are invited to “Spring Into Fashion” at Miami International Mall. The celebration will kick-off with the Easter Bunny arriving in a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck. Then the Easter Bunny will hop on over to the mall to join families for a delicious brunch. Funds raised from the brunch will benefit Doral Relay for Life, which organizes nationwide races to fight cancer. Kids will also enjoy interactive games, arts and crafts and prize giveaways. The Easter festivities will end with a fashion show, offering attendees a look at the latest fashions for spring. Parents are encouraged to bring their cameras to take pictures of the Easter Bunny.

    Join us at our annual Egg Safari on Saturday and Sunday, April 23 and 24, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. It’s a magical day at Zoo Miami with continuous egg safaris, fun activities, the Easter Bunny, and more for kids 12 years old and under.

    10:30 a.m. On Saturday, the Bengal tigers will receive painted coconut “Easter eggs” and on Sunday they’ll get papier mache “Easter eggs” filled with treats.
    11:00 a.m. The African lions will get egg-shaped blood pop in a nest of hay.
    11:30 a.m. The sun bears will delight in their pastel-colored hard boiled eggs and papier mache eggs stuffed with treats.
    1:00 p.m. The Asian elephants will enjoy giant Easter baskets filled with coconuts painted like eggs.
    2:00 p.m. The harpy eagles will tear apart their papier mache eggs filled with with meat .
    2:30 p.m. The Malayan tapir will get painted coconut “Easter eggs.”
    3:00 p.m. The African elephants will crush their giant Easter baskets to eat their yummy coconut “Easter eggs.”
    3:30 p.m. The Asian small-clawed otters will gobble up their pastel-colored hard boiled eggs.
